Empress Garden

Drawing:

When was the last time, you took a pencil to make a sketch or painting. I remember it was 12-13 years ago, that is a long time. Came across this drawing competition in Empress Garden (close to my place)

Figure1: This one is my favorite, where in the artist (school kid) helps you understand what he is trying to show with simple sentences he knows

Figure2: This reminds of the school competitions

Art of Bonsai:

This is a picture of a senior couple appreciating the art of Bonsai (Dwarf tree grown in shallow place) in Empress garden. There was this Flower exhibition at Empress garden where different things about gardening, flowers, trees etc. were exhibited. I have seen most of the senior citizen being part of this event either exhibiting or attending the exhibitions

Luckomania

Story1

On a lazy Saturday, I and my roommate after having breakfast tried our luck to see a movie. Drove to a new multiplex close by, Bolloywood E-square (it plays only hindi movies). We were there half an hour before the scheduled movie time. Movie was LUCK (movie title) and we could get a ticket for a price of 40 bucks. This multi-plex is new one and is on the out skirts of the city, so the price was lower. Lowest I ever managed to, that too on weekends. Generally in pune for a regular multiplex the ticket price will be close to 150 bucks on weekends. Reason for picking this movie LUCK was only for Shruti Haasan. Movie was pretty pathetic except the fact to see Shruti in few scenes.

Story2

On another occasion on my way to my room from office (on my bike), there is a railway gate that is to be crossed. Generally as we get close to the railway gate, on hearing the alarm of the closing gate every one try to accelerate the speed of their vehicles. This is an attempt to cross the railway line as the gates are about to close. This is a kind of test of how bad luck one is. Like if any one standing first in front of the gate, the one who see the gate panning in front of him can be considered as unlucky.

This time as I was reaching the gate heard the alarm of closing gate; I got an idea to test my luck. I totally decelerated my bike speed to go as slow as possible to give a chance for the gates to pan in front of me. Just then a goods carrier passes me and crosses the gate and the gate keeper has to wait for it to cross the line. So I got enough time to cross the gate as this goods carrier was too slow cross the railway track. I call this the LUCK test

The School

Entire place is busy as the school has been left and every one busy waiting for their vehicle to pick them up or walking their way home. Security guards busy clearing the space for traffic. There are school vans, buses, auto rickshaws, cars/scooters from home. Few students managed their own scooters.

Kids busy in discussion, where to go after they reach home. “ yaar shuru karte he na?” Kids playing football in the small space available not bothered about the vehicles stranded around. People who have come to pick them keep shouting “ chalo ramesh late ho raha he, baki log wait kar rahe he “ . But each is involved in their game playing foot ball. Another set of students are busy with their female counter parts chatting on what all happened in the class and who is who stuff. A girl gets down from her scooter and chases a guy and pulls his school bag. “Just shut up don’t remind of that” a girl to another girl “I did not do that it was him “.

Entire space is lively, that is the good part of it. Each involved in own world and with right spirits. Everyone is having fun. As the place got almost cleared I pass by the school with my bike. Two of the students on the side lane jump to mid of the road waving me to stop the bike. Blocking my way and later realized not good to do so they pushed themselves back to road side. To appreciate their effort I slowed down to give them a ride. “ Ghorpadi ja rahe he kya? “ two students ask me. “ ek he bait sakta he “, So one say bye to other students as they make awkward noises. This student stays close to my room I said to my self “lucky you”. We over took few of his school mates on our way “arey a deko, apne se pehle ja raha he” . I learnt from the student that it is the last day of their exam and he completed his 9th class. Student says” Thanks you very much” loud and clear as I dropped him at his destination.

I took off today, sick of daily routine stuff. Had my break fast at 11:00 am and road to a school close to my place. Learn t to keep things lively.

DOWN POUR

I was drenched(mild rain) and on my way back home from office. With only my helmet safe guarding my head from rain, one of those extra services helmet is meant for. Its 11:00 pm and now reached a place where I need to go under a rail track. Water logging is very clear on the entire road under the track about 20m length and flowing

Just going 5 minutes back. In rain on my bike I was cruzing at 60 km/hr. get to see a couple(might be husband and wife) on HONDA SPLENDER parallel to me I over took them and wondering how this guy would manage with a girl so late that to in rain.

Now in front of under way of rail track two, three vehicles in front stopped not knowing what to do. A maruthi car2 took a U turn to go back. Another Ambassador on the other way gushed in to the logged water, could see almost the radiator drowned. Another Yamaha bike being dragged and pulled by three pupil. Another maruthi car1 got stuck with its indicator lights blinking
(owner left the car long back).

With all these odds as there could be any crater to rest my Bajaj CT100 in the logged water I made a move to follow the U turn maruthi car2. By this time the SPLENDER couple arrived. This guy without any second thought gushed in to the pool of water in front. Me simply followed SPLENDER as if they get stuck I can still be safe. Though almost my legs were in water I managed to cross the water log.

Who is the hero? the SPLENDER and the follower? the CT100. Can be used to promote or advertise HERO HONDA products.

In life also role model foot steps can be of great help. Pupil who I though how they could help themselves helped my way out of water log. In few seconds the GUY has become a hero. My perspective took a U turn instead of my bike.

Note: happened some months back may be in August 2006.

Being Cyrus

Cyrus in bandages on roads with saline bottles. A pretty girl trying to help him walk on his way to hospitalize. They find Ramesh a very common man. Pretty girl ask Ramesh to hold the saline bottle and she moves on hurriedly to get some thing. Now Cyrus coughs, move here and there, completely scares Ramesh. Pretty girl comes back and shouts and blames Ramesh for not holding the saline bottle straight. Blood oozing out from Cyrus arms. Ramesh is taken for obliging Pretty girl.

After some more drama Ramesh is informed that it’s MTV BAKRA.

Who ever find its fun, damn it. Ramesh a common man who is kind at his heart try to help some one in his worst situation is fooled totally. Had Ramesh been some one equally smart as Cyrus things would have been different. Is Ramesh cousin of Cyrus or friend of Prettty girl that they have the right to fool him. Just because they are from MTV do they have the right to fool a common man? Will Ramesh ever come forward to help some one again for his kindness towards humanity has been destroyed by MTV.

“hahha … hahha .. u are on MTV? ” so wtf?

Many channels try to work on Prank shows but they are bit sensible about what they do compare to MTV. Especially when they are targeting common pupil on humanity issues.

Cyrus you are pile of steaming cow dung, hang your self upside down along with the girls who accompany you and watch some Arabic TV channel on soothsaying things on earth. Million rats on you. Wish some Rhino screw you one fine day.

“ ha...hah..hah..u are on blog spot… cheer up Cyrus ”

About Mary

Check 1million, 2million, 3 million

finally im in to blog sphere

After my dinner I lied on my bed switched on the TV. " Build me up…butter cup baby" that’s what I see. A melody song from "There is some thing about Mary". This song follows the ending of the movie. As I was watching this, cool (some what cool) breeze along with water sprinkling on my face, our desert cooler is responsible for this. What could be a better way to end the day? I fell a sleep as the song ended.

Now who is Mary? Mary, played my Cameron Diaz is this young charming lady who has this radiance that any average young guy would fall in love with. This lady who actively involves in golf, social events has this charisma that every men around her try out some means so that they bag the heart of Mary. Guys, I am not writing a movie review.

So how many of you tried for a Mary? Men (of course few exception will be) do what not to get close to someone like Mary. You need to be careful even with the acquaintances of Mary. Its really a tough job, but at the end do you get Mary is a million dollar question? Can you find Mary? Is it really worth to wait for Mary?
